Each week activities are planned for our young people to help them in their spiritual walk. We try to plan a wide range of activities balancing between both social and spiritual. If you have any questions about these activities feel free to call us at the church office.

Some of Our Youth Activities

Fall and Spring Advance

Every March and September we have our annual Advance. This weekend is designed to get our young people in grades  4th -12th away for the weekend to focus on God. We spend the weekend studying the Bible, singing, and having lots of crazy fun together.

Summer Camp

Every summer we go to Fall Creek Falls State Park for our annual summer camp. We spend the week having Bible classes ( 2 sessions per day), devotionals (every morning and evening), singing class (every afternoon), an arts and crafts session (daily), camp Olympics, lots of free time, and we close every day with a light out singing. We also go paddle boating and to the falls during the week. Camp is a great place to make friends that will last a lifetime.

Evangelism University

This weekend in January provides an opportunity for teens to learn how to talk to their friends about Jesus. This is an overnight trip in Savannah, TN and the cost is $30 per person. Evangelism University is held at Hardin County High School every January.

Challenge Youth Conference

This weekend is designed to meet the needs of young people who are growing up in a society that is indifferent to living for Christ. This event takes place in Gatlinburg every February. We attend the four main sessions along with the 4 class sessions. We close each evening with a devotional and debriefing period. The cost for CYC is about $70 per person plus money for food.

RUSH

Reaching Unlimited Spiritual Heights is a great weekend at Freed-Hardeman. About 1,500 young people attend this overnight youth rally from all over the country. We spend the weekend in praise and devotion to God.

Horizons

A Future Church Leaders Workshop at Freed Hardeman. It is a week out of the summer where you learn more about God, enjoy Christian people, make new friends, and learn how to be a better leader in the church. This is one of my favorite weeks out of the year.

City of Children

We take a trip to Mexico and visit with the children at the City of Children and teach classes for them. This trip is truly a life changing experience

Bible Bowl

Each year we participate in the Bible Bowl at Freed-Hardeman University. The book covered in 2006 was Genesis.

Monday Night Bible Study

Students meet for a period of Bible study followed by a period of fellowship. This is for the kids who really want to study and learn the word of God.

G.A.P

Guys and Girls Applying Prayer. Every Tuesday night during the summer we get together for a period of fellowship along with spilt (Guys/Girls) prayer sessions where we pray for each other.

T.B.S.

Tuesday Bible Study at Justin's house. We meet every other Tuesday night during the fall at Justin's house to study the Bible together.

W.O.W.

Win One on Wednesday. Once a month we meet at 5:30 p.m. for a meal together before Wednesday night Bible study. We invite our friends and enjoy a meal together along with fun and games.

T.N.T.

Totally Neat' Thursdays! Every Thursday during the summer we meet at the building and then venture off somewhere for lots of fun and excitement.

Summer Mission Trip

We take the youth on a domestic mission trip each year to door knock and conduct a Vacation Bible School.

Various Other Activities

Some of our other activities include: bowling, putt-putt, skating, lock-ins, service projects, youth rallies, laser tag, campouts and much, much more.
